Over the Waters By Christopher Ross Livingstone

Over the Waters By Christopher Ross Livingstone

A Poem by Christopher Ross Livingstone

Over the Water By Christopher Ross Livingstone
Since you passed on over,
reflection over the waters have made me think of you
Ripples and reflections over a shared conversation
It was only over the phone
Technology connecting us
Triggering experiences in emotional tides
Only to be in heart length away
Crossing on over
The Tradeston bridge also known as the squiggly bridge brought about dred to tred
My footprint echoes from a day gone by
Feels like only yesterday
Hearing your voice boding over conversatons we had
If I only knew that would conversation we shared
Experiences in crossing over
Teaches lessons in living
Sahring these with the ones that we love
Builds us up to those in passing
If only I knew it would be?
Greif said unto me if I only did more
Over the waters
Stages in grieving are ripples towards healing
Walking accross through these sensations I tred accross this bridge
Dred is upon my heart
IBut realisations in reflecions teaches me that
bridges are made for crossing
I feel you found your peace
hand in hand I walk toward mine in grief
