A Poem by Christopher Ross Livingstone

Captured By Christopher Ross Livingstone
Moments are captured memories
like a moment captured by the lens of a snapshot.
But can be forgotten by the heart,
because we're not present to experiences
Capturing a shared soul
Bonded Mother and Son moments
These times are etched forever upon a pulse
Conversations over a cuppa
Your life had been one spent in strain
Experiences gave your heart self doubt
You didn't like captured images
Your confidence was quiet but your love was like the sun
I know you had go
Your time slipped past
Mother and Son parted of the ways
You departed this earth but with shared experiences
Something I wasn't ready for
Many moments never captured by a snapshot
As you lay in your peace
I will remember you because I hear you in my heart
