A Poem by Christopher Ross Livingstone

Autumn By Christopher Ross Livingstone

Here we are,
another passage of time
Shows up on the leaves.
Mother nature's telling us something,
do we listen of those internal whisper?

Equinox and her Moon is rising
Days become dim.
Night time speaks of heat and rest
Leaves falling
Fall in fall
letting go
as they must
to bring us in anew.

Mother is telling us signs and symbolisms
Eyes captivated by her splendour,
in turn the gateway to my heart is stollen
These deep hues
I become enriched
The Autumn leaves feel slike a promise,
surrendering as I fall

This year,
deep in the clearing
The waves of emotons
I shed tears as a means to let go
Autumn leaves
reminding me of last year's cycle
Reflecttions and gatherings
falling of the leaves
Each one in the fall
An individual leaf
Stems with a memory
forever shaped in history and witnessed
From the life of the tree
Mother you gave me a gift,
A life of love,
roots and growth
Forever I hold your majesty and appreciation
Nature is truth
Within I dwell

Autumn leaved,
I am strolling
Walking with Missy,
remincing in memory
Taking the slow path
But making memories
As I come to know and heal thyself.

The Autumn leaves,
we'll soon leave behind
The leaves of old,
reflecting on a cycle.
Season turning
Shaping us in spirit and in experience
Autumn leaves
We wrap up our hearts
I said goodbye to my mother
But I feel her love as I walk in awarenes of nature
