A Poem by Christopher Ross Livingstone

Caught In A Trap Bt Christopher Ross Livingstone
Contemplation is sitting on the consideration curve of this year
Towards that point.
Endings are due to come to pass.
Upon a moment reflection takes me to pause and sit
Healy hearts are caught in a trap.
Reverted back to type through personals seasonal histories
Old habits formed.
Swelling emotions turned into pangs of comfort
Sweet treats and comfort eating
Over eating are only false promises,
and a gateway towards self sbotage and not self love
But I can't blame myself
Stigma and shame only hurts a soul
It's all part of this devine jounrey.
I have come to feel those who have surrendered unto peace,
From heart to soul they're by my side
So then I question the logic of the cycle,
How can I then have a heavy heart caught in a trap?
I am loved.
These triggers consuming me wash through me
No longer will this soul be caught in trap
For this soul is free..
