I've been captured. 

In a moment,

frozen in that snapshot 

My heart left sinking as I stood in stillness

Althoigh feeling all the same,

Through inescapable numbness.

In that stillness,

a moment never forgotten.

How could I ever?

When your meaning to me was indescribable 

To the Moon and back were your words.

When you left I knew you'd watch from above

Fleeting moments

Time in these expressions

This moment in time that was captured.

I know I'll leave this period of sombre reflection

As I beat on with love in my heart

I carry on your name as you sleep in peace.
