Ebbs and Flow By Christopher Ross Livingstone

Ebbs and Flow By Christopher Ross Livingstone

A Poem by Christopher Ross Livingstone

Ebbs and flow By Christopher Ross Livingsotne
The lived experience can fall so hard!
Those teachings and lessons follow on,
but do we surrender into them?

It's the ebbs and flow of life,
the great experience is vast.
Emotional turbulance shuuders,
your heart cast into limbo but be in no doubt,
therefore lays your intuition.

Ebbs and flow of life,
takes us high into wonders and lust.
The capacity of your heart swells as you give,
beating on out ever lasting service to others.
Remembering too that our sensitivities must be loved in return.
For too long I gave on out,
until I would burn out.

What a year it has been.
Reflecing on the ebbs and flows in this passage of my pages,
you could write a book upon this year alone.
The knocks and the waves along the way,
Those tears in release.
Letting go as I move on.
Moving from place to place in the midst of homeless,
Feeling those who had the time for you
But that's a lesson learned
Those ebbs and flow,
I allow not to tie knots upon my heart because
I know in despite of these experiences
I am home resting after being swept uo in the ebbs and flow
Here I sit at roots with mother and her nature

The line about lessons learned is the key to the poem. We cannot allow ourselves to be carried away by either ebbs or flows. This whole enterprise is just one big school.
