Lost

Lost

A Poem by Christopher Ross Livingstone

Lost By Christopher Ross Livingstone
Like a sweeping force,
loss takes to your gut.
A loss of your maternal,
changes everyting.

I have been drifting.
between, and in and out of the stages in grief.
Swelling through the heart as she beats,
and in times of doubt I've felt lost.

In a world,
where you seek to belong.
I was lost in these sensations,
as my breath was taken away.

The days forever changed,
when you passed.
In all honesty,
I had no idea where to go or who turn too

Clinging to the earth,
touching to the seasons and my seeking to find what was once lost.
In my gut,
I reclaimed my braeth to find my heart
