Outdates symbols 

Masculine strength 

Muscle and might 

Macho labels

From long ago.

Serving us no purpose 

To the gentleman within

I ask,

What the meaning?,

To be a man?

In the year of 2021.

Feelings are internal and everlasting

Expressive

Never let them be static

Emotions in motion

Submerged sensations

Expose a man to harm

Gentle and attentive 

Nature is within 

I say,

A revolution is needed,  

To the gentleman within 

I stood still

Standing in the sands of time

Reflections upon experinces from the past

The gentleman within me

Guided and influenced by my maternal light

This gentleman within reflects etenal love and appreciation

A Mother who was my Mum

Like a friend 

She was a Grandmother,

A friend to many 

The crazy cat and dog lady

With her might 

Love and determation 

Gave light and heart to my life

Shaping my light

Reminding me the words we utter have meaning

My maternal energy 

The time has come
