Silence

Silence

A Poem by Christopher Ross Livingstone

Silence
Tomorrow is never grated
But life is a jounrey
So people say
Like the path each of us take
But walking in step side by side
Deeper connected it takes us to the place we want to be
Tomorrows footprints can't be a given
But today they can be appreciated
The paths taken are strides in treasured and the unfrogtten memories
A bond forever sealed in love
As I held your hand to let you go
In that silence I will remeber you
Tomorrow wasn't ours
As you took your journey and crossed over
Todays touch brings e memories of what was and could be
But each day brings the motions of emotions
Some days differ from others
But I know in the silence I'll walk with you inside my heart

This poem really takes one on a spiritual journey that describes a bond of love. How the path is forged with memories together until its final end when one must let go and move forward alone yet left with those precious moments of together to cling to. Death is never the end of love, it's forgetting that is. Thank you for sharing your poem with us.
