Reclaim

Reclaim

A Poem by Christopher Ross Livingstone

Reclaim by Christopher Ross Livingstone
For way too long now
We've suppressed the unexpressed
But what good did it do?
Internally leaving
Unable to reach out
To touch and to be held by another
The untold damage of the unspoken sensation
beyond word or measure
From one heart beat to another
We've become lost to authenticity
To ourselves and to nature
But to let it be expressed
Internally makes us more connected
The time now has come
To remove those obstacles
With head, heart and soul
Balance and connection
Speak your expressions
State your intention
Reclaim your life
From the seedlings to the root
You'll root anew
Ever growing and healing
You'll come from darkness
Reclaimed your light
