A poem on the word community

Community 

Today I am considering and pondering 

The notion of community 

Taking each letter 

To understand 

What it means 

And what it can be 

I give to you the letter. C - 

Coming together for connection and compassion in shared spaces 

The letter O is Openness, 

for all the hearts and minds 

In our spaces ,M is 

Movements for change and hope 

Without the other M - 

We won't have meaningful spaces to share and move others

 

The key qualities in community is the letter U

And without it,

There would be no understanding and unity,

Which builds solidarity and connections

From the seeds to the root

Nurturing and nourishment gives the blossom

To all our communities

We have the letter I to give us 

the integrity to make the difference

Time is the precious gift to every communty  

And this is why, 

You are important part of you community
