Kindness now, more than ever

In the turn of the earth and spin

We have come full circle,

Through the seasons and the changes 

In mither natures touch 

Upon reflection

With what each of us has experienced

Kindness now, 

More than ever 

Is needed 

Christmas Bells, 

Tinsel and glitter 

Celebrations and connections 

Family

Love and spirit 

How times have changed? 

This year and the festive period 

Will be experienced 

And touched 

Very differently

A pandemic has changed the fabric of connection and interactions

Social distanced measures takes us away from 

Cuddles and the embrace 

Our loved ones are close but far away 

Christmas is at nature the time for,

Giving and receiving in the hours of sharing 

More than that, 

Kindness and love is at its root

We all need the essence of kindness,

now more than ever

  

These days 

Feel less social in a socially distanced world 

Love lifts us higher 

And I believe 

Kindness will take us through 

The days of social distance 

We don't need to give a gift

We can do something unique 

Day by day 

Giving time 

Sending a card to your neighbours 

Offering someone space and time

Slow ourselves down 

See what is happening around us

And through our actions

Our surroundings will change

Creating 

A more connected world
