Just a figment.

Just a figment.

A Story by Elliana

There's figment in my imagination...I wish he were here, right now, beside me.

Maybe I would turn around and a figure would be standing by the entrance.

Arms crossed, leaning against the wall with his side.

Smirking at all that he sees, a smile replaces it once my eyes find his.

Inviting me to come to him, his figure becomes evanescent.

My eyes pierce through and hit the wall.

Reality slaps my heart in two, I dance between real prescence and what is not.

Once again, there was a figment in my imagination.

Although kind of heartbreaking I enjoyed this piece as many of us can relate... sometimes when we're lonely we imagine the presence of a love just to help us get through the pain.

Reality slaps my heart in two, I dance between real prescence and what is not.

Thats line right there says it all as often reality and fantasy sometimes collides in our minds.

Brilliant piece of work.

REALLY good poem. I like how it's written though sad when he's really not there. Agree totally with Rock N Roll Cowboy on this one. Great job. ;)
