Prologue

Welcome to the Bottom Rail.

A note to you all. I am a strong believer in the Lord, however this story is just a twisted idea of what we all fear..

Our world is ruled by Man. Of all the species to take rise in this world, man has declared himself the uncontested ruler of this little marble. He has huge buildings that tower over the clouds, weapons of war that can wipe out an entire city in but seconds. Man has wrapped himself in the belief he is the supreme ruler of his domain. What if someone could challenge his dominion over this Earth? Would the Nile run crimson with his blood? Would he choke on the smoke of his own ashes? Or would he rise from the ashes like a phoenix? Only time will tell.

Two years prior to the events of this novel...

January 1st, 2010

 

I sit here in my observatory, waiting for it to happen... Through the stars I have seen God. He is not the loving king we imagined. He is not a singular being, but oh... He is coming. We shall experience the end times soon, as he grows tired of this world, he will move on, destroy us, and create a new world for him to toy with. I on the other hand, am waiting fro him, so maybe I can plead for my life from him... My blood has been shed, my fingers have ached, and back broken to find out what will happen. It is horrifying. The end times are nothing compared to what he Will do to us....

 

He's coming for us, now as I write, waiting to unleash total hell upon us. The office around me is dark, maybe he won't find me... Or maybe I'll go up in Flames like the rest of them. He has attempted to destroy us before, but decided to spare us in an ark, and told us he would not try it again with water. Now he brings it upon us with fire. Fire... Burn us all... Burn us all...

"Exuro is totus , is must exsisto exuro."

We will all burn.

I was attracted by this piece because it reminds me of my own version of a God in my stories. It's a really good start, keep it up. I'll keep watch to see if you post anything more on this book or even any other pieces you may write.

Wow, Mr. Master! Didn't know you had it in you but I love the raw intensity of sespense yo hold through this little peice of the big puzzle. Excellent, very dark and depressing almost. But so deliciously twisted with the urge to know more!
