Apathy. It was the thing reflected inside the eyes of Alouette Strauss for she was viewing a world of the insane. Others would see dreams, she would see nightmares, others would hear laughter, she would hear the voices of paranoia lingering in her ears. She couldn't escape from it--- schizophrenia.

Whatever it was that happened that fateful day, it was a series of vignettes as two people wandering inside the silence of a hospital room found comfort after a traumatizing bus accident. That was the day she met Claude Redmond, an aspiring pianist who introduced her to a world where being different didn't matter and after nine whole years, they meet once more in Stresseman University; facing difficulties the world has to offer with Alouette as a Fine Arts major and Claude as an unexpected Biochemistry student.

Could a series of theses projects, music sheets and oil paint bring her back to the reality she once lost?
