Driven to emulate

 

 

Where did this thought come from?

I do not care to know

for the peace of mind that it gives me,

keeps me going.

 

Whatever I can get from this

I will take it, learn from it,

and become the person I am to be

 

We all admire greatness, 

some people want it all now,

a commodity to have through a misconception of rights

 

Some people study and work hard for

the aeries of success.

 

We all however have a person to hold, to look up to,

to eventually better.

 

The awe these people inspire in us, keeps us optimistic
