Creeping

Creeping

A Poem by Riley Black
"

A poem about a creeping obsession

"
I have developed a distinct lack of interest in the pedantic.
Perhaps an opening for the shadows of intellectual ignorance,
Yet the outstretched hand of obligation will remain unclasped.
The anticipated guilt does not kindle behind my eyes.

My psychological isolation breeds perilous bewilderment.
Tangled contemplations provoke discovery " possibilities unfurl.
I feel an obsessive nature creeping, lurking.
I am the calm before the storm.
The eye will darken with impending fury.
Unstoppable.

This feels like drugs to me, probably dope but that to me is just addiction and that can be anything, but to me it feels like dope. Sadly I like it alot and i hope im wrong. LOL.

Hey ! the start of something new, unfathomable, yet exciting! Something other than the mundane. Could be a good thing if the guilt is not materialising even though you anticipate it. After all, some obsessions do become magnificant!
