Trust , attention , relationship pt1

Trust , attention , relationship pt1

A Poem by Riley Malvin
"

enjoy the thrill life presents

"
Sometimes you need to trust, a bit blindly.
And yes, there is the risk of being hurt.
But hurting is sometimes the price you pay for something marvelous.
And, it affords you the right to look back and say,
"It was amazing. And I experienced it/ came out great."
But also,
"It sucked. And, I wouldn't change a thing because I learned something from it."

A firm disbelief in reliability always has been the the main cause of unsuccessful connections, bonds with the people we most care about.
We constantly lie to ourselves that we trust them but on the side we on our toes trying furtively to look for something fishy. Or even prepare a counter action given you catch them in action.
We go to great lengths, possibly wasting precious time going after what we think (s)he's doing behind your back, rather than enjoying the moments.
Attention, a condition of readiness for such attention involving especially a selective narrowing or focusing of consciousness and receptivity as described by Merriam-Webster.

We apply our mind to something, someone we find interest in physically or otherwise. By nature it's not wrong to want but one shouldn't seek it.
One person's attention's never enough for some, also labeled 'attention w****s' that which is thoroughly delusional and either doesn’t realize or simply doesn’t care if the guys she calls her ”friends” feel led on and used when they inevitably mistake her soul-baring as romantic interest in them. And if you share in this male-female “friend” delusion.
Not saying an attention w***e is the natural female's state .Just like there are lots of bad men/ f-boys (as they call them) out there, it doesn’t mean it's the natural state of the male.

A relationship is a team work process between two people, working on themselves and each other to become the best they can be. It's a two way thing.

Could it be that male and female could ever become “best friends” in the truly platonic sense, where neither wants anything more than friendship from the other, anyhow?
