Honest Truth

Honest Truth

A Poem by Riley Malvin

Oh Goodnight my dearly beloved Margaret,
Your smile so welcoming,welcomingly smooth,
Her eyes so bright, bright as the lone sparkle dew drop,
I can not sleep oh my beloved,
I made a mistake,i told you so soon,
Maybe i ruined it,all of it,
I just could not take it further,
What i feel is too deep.
You brighten my day day with that smile.
Smile so welcoming,welcomingly smooth.
Her lips so delicious.
Margaret do come to me my dearly beloved,
Long have i waited for you to come,
Long have i left the kettle on thinking you might drop by for tea,
Long have i stared at you portraits,
those pictures i seem not to get enough of.
I hired a carriage today hoping you might show,
show not you did,
I hired a carriage today hoping to catch a ride with my beloved,
the ride we caught not,
I have a surprise for you,me.
Rest well my Beloved Margaret for i shall call you Margaret nomore,
Nomore shall i call you Margaret,
But Mine.
