Letter to the Girl I used to Be.

I know what you're probably doing right now. 

Sitting in your room with your bestfriend,

Talking about everything really fast, 

Being as happy as you've ever been. 

I know what you're probably doing right now. 

Sniffling because your nose burns,

But it is better to have your nose burn than to be laying in bed feeling as if you're nothing. 

I know what you're probably doing right now. 

Out forgetting who you are,

giving up on yourself, 

Letting people use you because it's easier than saying no. 

You do it because you don't want to be alone...

I understand, 

But not everyone will. 

- The Better you.

This poem is actually get publish in some book. I wrote it for a contest and they asked if they could add it to the book so I thought I would add is here so I could get feedback on it.

This was way nicer than I would be writing a letter to the old me. with things like giving up on yourself and letting people use you, I am happy in the thought that since this is who you used to be. You have taken control and are in fact a better you. Thanks for sharing.
