A very powerful poem, I liked it a lot. Especially the part "in an instant/ or forever". Loved the way you incorporated the theme of 'time'.
The music fits very well, as others have said.

Wonderful reflection from start to finish!
The song fits perfect with your words, too.

Dan, not only could I feel the intensity of this, I can hear the noise it creates, wave forms that spiral and spiral until screams become silent...you voiced this so perfectly and viscerally, I hope you are doing better dear friend? Blessings :)

Woah! The title really made me curious to read the whole. And the content caught me by surprise.
A huanting blow!
The one thing that I loved about this concise yet profoundly vivid piece is the rap-like voice or rhythm it has.
Nice work. Rated it 85.

How the hell are you? I just logged in and your poem pops in my box! The second coming of Dan!
This is a very apt title for this poem. You have given the reader a very accurate depiction of the warped sense of reality that may come with a psychotic episode. Every sense just collides together in a blur of noise and lights and time seems to slow down and in fact turn backwards on the clock. A great use of imagery.
Great to have you back, Dan. Keep up the great work and take good care of yourself!

Like snowflakes no two are alike so when one starts it's a mental crapshoot, anxiety compounds and balloons to a thundering climax.
Thank you so much for the read/review. My health is still in jeopardy but hope is present always. Thanks again! take care...dan
