The Christmas DoveA Poem by danDoves are symbolic of peace, peace is what we hope for Christmas...Prince sings about doves crying...is he mourning the lack of peace in the world? Let's be more optimistic and share dove's peace. The Christmas Dove
She’s sitting perched atop a tree to view her world below. She plans her journey carefully; to every house she’ll go. The world’s waiting patiently and praying all is right. They’re hoping that the Christmas Dove will touch their lives this night.
While children hope for Santa Claus to make their Christmas Day, They fail to see the deeper meaning, the spirit of the day. We elders know that pious thought Will bring our just reward, And sanctify our prayerful dreams, the hope we walk toward.
Then flying, at the sacred hour they’ve been preparing for, The Christmas Dove, on wings of Love, brings keys for every door. The joys and peace that for too long, were always locked inside Are freed to come and join us in the one-horse sleighs of life we ride.
