deja vu again

a mea culpa

I want to apologize to all of my friends who have sent me read requests in the past 3-4 weeks. My wife has been pretty sick and is now again hospitalized due to pneumonia and sepsis. My health is also an issue but nowhere near as serious as her issues. All of this has affected my writing (dry as a bone) and also my ability to focus and concentrate enough to give insightful and thoughtful reviews. I promise I will get to them, don't know when. I don't blame any of you if you are discouraged from sending more requests. I apologize for that. Forget about me, but if you are so inclined please have good thoughts for Dee and hopes for her recovery. Thank you. dan

Oh my, my friend. I know how hard it is to focus on anything when the spouse you adore is in the hospital, and Otto's issues were nothing to what you and Dee are facing. You both have my thoughts and prayers, and every well wish for her recovery. Do not worry about anything in your request box! Your friends will understand, that Dee takes precedence. Anyone who does not is not worthy of your time, Dan. Concentrate on staying well yourself, and keeping Dee's spirits up. That is enough for any one person. We are here if you need us!
