Dan a very spiritual piece of sublime art
That moment of sweet escape and finding true belief inside the soul
Recalling moments and being in peace
through any trouble
It is our decorum of how we pass through life that matters the most ...... To not allow the soul to escape our body
To be in this beautiful picture you drew
A serenity
Your words are wise
And this poem touched the soul

Your feedback is always appreciated, your flattery gives my day a kick-start. The truth is that none of my writing works unless the reader interprets them in such a way for thoughts, not messages, to hit home with them. I just try to plant seeds...the reader does the rest. Thank you, and take care...dan

Dan: A beautiful journey you have written, the plea for peace, is what I hear, the life we all wish, but get glimpses of in memories, or just beyond our reach. I remember, and it all is gorgeous. I want you to get those dreams, capture them, and encapsulate all the wonderful memories, and forget the ones that haunt us all. Loved this one. Thank you so very much! Dale

I love too your response, and I miss dreams, to me there not real - I have to take medications to sleep. I've had chronic insomnia for so long; I miss the real ones...I rewrote that poem!!! Mainly because of you...I like it better, but I cannot, and never will be able to write like you and so many others, but that okay too. Hope you & Dee have great weekend, and pray things are going better with the other situation.

I wake up 6 or 7 times a night from VIVID AND DISTURBING dreams. And I never suggested you rewrite Moonbow...I just had a little fun with the name because I wasn't aware that it was a real phenomenon. And I can make the argument that you write AT LEAST AS GOOD as me, we just have different styles and muses. I really wish you would stop selling yourself short as a writer. You've written some STAGGERINGLY GOOD pieces; I write a few great ones but most are fairly average and pedestrian. I can think of about 20 OF MY FRIENDS who are better than I am, and you're included in that group. Give yourself some credit, please; I mean, modesty is fine but self-recognition is also fine if one is not always bragging on themselves. I love reviewing your poems because they provide so many nuances to explore and absorb. Say this to yourself now: I AM A GOOD WRITER! Rinse. Repeat. take care...dan

To wake up with a bad dream; I only remember one, and it haunted me; someone killed my son. Next, I'm so sorry if you thought I rewrote that poem because of you. I have a sense of humour, I see I must be careful with. I was disappointed because I knew I could do better. Now that being said: you are so very nice, so kind. My self-esteem has truly most of my life been in the gutter; I'm so hyper and have to take medication too, but nothing seems to help. Sometimes, like now, just told someone, I can concentrate better, slow down and write better. I will say this, A couple of times, I have read, and re-read a poem of mine, and finally came to the conclusion it's okay. FOR ME, IT'S A MIRACLE. Remember Tom Petty, even a loser gets lucky sometimes. Now, I don't EVER exspect people do pick me up...whatever. I'm fine: Now that's enough, I'll say to myself just what you've said. But at the same time, I see things in your work that absolutely blow me away. Truly. I have came to a couple of your poems and have been awestruck. I really didn't know how to review. Anyway, thanks, and no, I just impulsively loaded the poem, and knew I could do better. Know I can now, but got other things to do. Not that important. You're sweet. I am sorry If I every offended you: I respect you. Thanks!!!!

when those memories we try so hard to bury, finally surface we can do not but follow... and as we move forward toward it, we hope and pray the tragedies we've buried along the way allow us to pass by without forcing us to relive them... love the dream-like feel to this, Dan.
