But you have to remember this……..

 

You can blame something else for the state of the world,

But you can blame me for my lies.

the more I read this one, the more it makes me laugh and shake my head.. this has such a witty edge to it and I love it.. it is short, powerful and makes you think.. the funny part is--the one doing the lying is the only one that is convinced.. or at least in a big enough state of denial that it doesn't matter.. why is it always easier to assign blame than to take responsibility for our own actions?....well done.. I can't wait to read more..

April, Yes, this one was meant to be a little tongue-in-cheek; I imagined someone listening to another bitching about life, the world, etc. This one copped a plea for his lies while trying to shut the complainer up by saying, "The world? When you think of life and general, and the world situation in particular, we can see that assigning blame makes it easier than solving problems. If all countries, people, situations and events would look for answers instead of who should be assigned the blame, a lot of problems would go away and accord can be reached. It's so true: All we humans do is blame each other; sometimes for things that our own fault. It just makes one's ego more powerful. Great expression with a few words. Not a lot of people can do that.
