Shallot's Lament
Cast off the ropes and let the river flow... Wither it wanders I care not to know.
He has left me to silence in my white wedding gown, so I'll float on the river as the leaves trickle down...
In a boat with no oars, my course set by fate -- the river flows onward, I'll no longer wait.
And when I at last find my boat run aground... I shall sleep in the river... alone shall I drown.
