Love?

What is love?

I love him.

But he loves someone.

That someone loves a guy.

And that guy loves me.

Why?

Why do people love other people?

Why do they keep on loving them

Even though it hurts?

Why do people keep on sacrificing themselves

For their person they love?

They keep on hoping that they’ll be loved too.

Why don’t they just simply love themselves?

At least if they love themselves, it will be reciprocated.
