Lonely but I’m fine

This poem is based on a song.

Maybe because of losing tears,

I became so thin.

As I face the mirror,

I promised to myself

To be happy without you.

 

Once a mistake is done,

No more “sorry” is needed.

The harm is done.

No one can change it.

So don’t bother me.

 

I’m lonely.

But don’t worry, I’m fine.

You don’t have to come back

To return all the memories

And happiness that we have before.

 

I’m lonely.

But still, I’m fine.

This loneliness will fade also.

You don’t have to think of me

And push yourself to make me happy.

 

To recover from this

Will take years.

But I’m fine.

A person came in this world alone.

Thus I have to return everything.

I think this was a good write. I have to say that I can relate to this poem. I can be lonely, but I am okay with that as well. I mean it's not like it's fun to be lonely, but as long as your fine then you are good. If you can't handle being alone then don't be. Try to find someone to be with. This was a great write though. Thanks for sharing.

i'm somewhat flabbergasted !! how could a sixteen year old write something so well and so wise ?? maybe we start out mature... and get worse with time. it's been a long time since i was 16. i forget what it was like

i found this poem almost subtly written. all the more wonder, how it's incredibly moving
