A picture

sad poem again?

A picture is left on me

To remember

To reminisce our memories

That doesn’t last forever

 

This picture reminds me

Of our sad relationship

Started with a smile

But ended with tears

 

Am I selfish?

I asked you before

You or me

Yet you chose yourself

 

You said “I love you” too much

Too much that you can’t differentiate

Truth from lies

Because you’re afraid to hurt me

 

You said I gave you too much

Yet you can’t reciprocate it

Even the things I want to do with you

Are you able to give it to me?

 

These are the things we have done

When we were together

Now I’ll leave you with this picture

Because it is better for us to let go

 

And I love you so much.

I'm pretty sure I've explained the term Agape to you before (at least ot one ortwo of you poets . . .) The idea of "Love without condition"
