A true friend

A true friend is a must have
A true friend understands you
A true friend always hang out with you
A true friend stays with you
Whether good or bad times
A true friend cheers you up when you're down
A true friend cheers you too when you succeed
A true friend knows your strengths and weaknesses
Yet he/she changes it to your strengths
A true friend tells you the truth
Even though it will hurt you so much
A true friend tries to change the things you've done wrong
A true friend doesn't cry when you're crying
Because he/she knows that you much need of comfort than tears
A true friend is a must have
Because all of these things are found in this person

The message of the poem really struck me. I have many friends but only a few are 'true friends'. True friends, in my opinion, are the ones you can depend on, who will always be by your side during the best and worst of times, who can defend you when you feel like the world is turning against you and who can share the same interests as you. It's not easy to look for a true friend because if we analyze reality with keen eyes, we can observe that true friends only come once in a while. Finding a true friend takes patience and determination, determination in terms of seeing something good and admirable about the person. We all need true friends. We all need somebody to lift us when we're down or when we can't bare life anymore.

This is a message that I think everyone needs to look at. A true friend really is a must have, you need to have one to rely on. And I think this piece really portrayed that feeling or need. Great job writing this piece, I enjoyed it :)

This is all true. i mean you can have friends but some only stick to you as true friends and i definately think true friends have whats above. =)
