Of Dreams

Of Dreams

A Poem by Antonio Valentino

Sweet Dear of Mine,

Bleeding bite of my lips
Hallowed tears of stolen rain,
my sea, my motionless ocean
I wish your skin could hear the sounds
That you, the bird of water,
Melody of the silent song,
Are, the sigh in my heart

Taste the fragrance of design
And hold my shadow
Against the shore of your smile
And bend into the last chance
Where the river pounds,
Through the sprawling dam,
With the pulse of darkness overhead
And, the blinking eyes,
Of ancient suns

Let the ardent balm
Of our passion’s mist
Trapped in dance
Meld and braid into one

As it lifts into the night
Of imagination
Escaping desires
We’ve yet to admit
And skirting fidelity
That you are,

My poem of dreams

Ahhh this is like a sweet kiss... lovely. Let the ardent balm of our passions mist trapped in dance meld and braid into one - what a beautiful, sensual picture. This is heaven!
