Subtitles and Choruses Combined

Subtitle One

energy coming through and i love you 
i really do and this it what happens

when you write

while listening to music with titles

like this  randomly

on a winter night
like the one we're having now

Chorus

yes i will keep the title

and the cold weather does have 

a healing effect sometimes

when you're not even looking

Subtitle Two

like when the tomatoes in your backyard

suddenly blossom after it seemed to disappear never to return

but the smell of the tomatoes made you turn around 

and decide to make a bruscetta

 out of the basil the olive oil 

and the vinegar you bought last saturday night

Author's Note

I wrote this in late January and I've made slight changes by turning the three stanzas into paragraphs that could be used as three separate monologues for possible use in a theatrical setting combined with music. Let me know what you think. :-)

potentially this is just beautiful, though I felt that the last stanza was quite an anti-climax, which I think could benefit from an adaption or a further final verse, kind regards

In case your wondering, the photo is that of Theodore Roosevelt who oddly enough is related to me through my Grandmother. :-) He was a Republican but I don't think the Republicans of Today would like him. LOL
