5:45 am on September 14th

i have a tendency to thrive in

the midst of chaos 

and that's the only other explanation i have for how

i was able to think up lyrics to a

possible song in order

to keep myself calm as i was riding in the passenger side

of the ambulance this

past september 14th

as my father was being transported to franklin square hospital

less than an hour after

i called 911 when my father was having breathing problems 

that very well could have turned into something

much worse if i had walked away and done nothing
