IF I WOULD LET MYSELF TELL YOU…

IF I WOULD LET MYSELF TELL YOU…

A Poem by richa

If I would let myself tell you

How much I've changed

How much I've grown

The things about your daughter that you should have known

If I would let myself tell you

Gone are the dreams now and shattered are all hopes

Beneath the coat of smiles and jokes

Is a lonely heart, without your love being choked

If I would let myself tell you

To come and take a look behind the curtain

Under the cloth, you would see the dark for certain

May be then you would feel your daughter's wounds.. and her pain

If I would let myself tell you

Filled with sorrow how difficult it is for me to stand

And every time I fall I wish I could hold my father's hand

May be not today but one day u'll understand

If I would let myself tell you

No matter how much you change your daughter will still remain the same

She just needs your love not any blame

She will stand to make you proud ..will never let you feel ashamed

If I would let myself tell you

How much your daughter needs you

She is dying to hug n say that "papa i miss you"

If I would let myself tell you ...

I wish someday I would tell you…
