A Truth

You see, life is full of falls;

And the more you rely on someone to pick you up,

The easier it is for them to push you back down

The trick is,

You've got to be strong enough to pick yourself up;

And you've got to be smart enough not to stoop down to other's level and push people down

You've got to create a level of your own

Sure, it'll hurt more when you fall;

And the journey back up may seem difficult, 

But it will make you stronger and able to climb higher and higher;

Then you'll look down on those people who rely on others to pick them up,

And realize they're not getting any closer to you

So keep making your way to the top,

And never look down again

And maybe when you reach the top,

You'll find something or someone who is going to keep you from falling down ever again
