Remember when snowflakes were scented with baby's breath street lights were dinner bells riding bikes was a day's restitution of fresh air there were no amber alerts or at least we were not aware God was still politically correct at the start of a school day Wonder bread was no wonder, but what did we care? ...Simpler places of the mind
This reminds me of a conversation that I had with a friend not too long ago...how life used to seem so big when we were small, and now it seems so much smaller now that we are big. Great imagery in this one, it really took me back to those special moments that I cherish in my mind.
There may not have been Amber alerts but I do remember being told not to take candy from strangers

True, but I think that was the biggest threat we needed to heed at that time, thanks for reading.
Oh the time, there were no amber alerts, were the good old days, there were no cellphones, twitter or facebook, there was just a hike, and a walk, and a beautiful nature, we loved, and we lived...
This spoke to me much, friend, it has all that is missing these days. Sometimes I yearn back for days more simpler.... loved this.

My nieces and nephews don't even own a sled, got me to thinking, much appreciate your kind words.

I remember I had to walk to real old phone-boxes, and when a friend called me at home, it was just fantastic... lol even through I worked on many phone company's and in technical worlds, with hard-software, etc, it never has given me goosebumps... for creativity shall ever win my heart. You're so welcome always a pleasure to read you. x

I really don't know what to say on these 'about me' pages. I'm newly divorced, have recently found poetry and loving every minute of it. I'm a bit on the shy side until you get to know me. My best .. more..
