My Moody Hues

Some days my mood depends on me

sometimes you regulate it too,

 music in my head changes routinely

contingent on what is said.

Yes, I know it's a major flaw, 

but don't we have them all?

When you talk about moody, the first person who comes to mind is me. It is a sad state of affairs and even though with each mood change, I know exactly what is happening, there doesn't seem to be anything at all that I can do about it. believe me, I try, but my attempts are like trying to get a rock to float.

This was nice R&B. You do have a way of packing a lot into a small amount of words.

we all have the flaws, that is true enough. But, we are the purveyor of our own moods however, another person can soon enough escalate or minimize that mood by reading it and catering to your mind set.

yes, we have them all...and others greatly affect our mood...much said in this short piece...nice title...

a play on Moody Blues...if intended...one of my favorite groups...and much of their music deals with love and different moods...

Out moods are formed by external and internal stimuli. There are things to brighten it but those same things can darken it. You mention music, that has the ability to be uplifting or reduce us to tears. I like this poem and the images you have created.

Mood is something beyond our control.Music is something that can alleviate mood swings. A brief poem that speaks volumes.A lovely write.
There is one suggestion - in the last line if instead of 'don't we have them all' you had written 'don't we all have them' it would have made more sense.
