to light up even the darkest night

when the sadness dissipates with a new sun

Four lines and a million views for the imagination. This is so true, those long nights waiting and wondering when it will all end and then the sun rises, paints the sky and sends to earth a sense of hope, even if just a little. Very nicely penned dear poet.

When things seem at their darkest, we seek the sun, and wonder if it will ever really chase the darkness away... but even in the light, we can see the shadow...
