That GirlA Poem by Rhys MarchantHard to explain. You tell me what you think its about. There
is always that girl. There
always is; With
long curly hair, And
lips you want to kiss. But
you know you can’t have her, You
know it’s not right. But
yet you crave her, You
crave to spend the night. As
one night can make all the difference Change
her point of view. So
you make a move, Even
though you knew; And
as predicated you’re shot down Shot
down to size. Then
left alone, Left
alone to contemplate the whys. And
from this you draw to a conclusion, To
never do it again. To
fall for that sort of girl But
then... There
is another. As there
always is. © 2011 Rhys MarchantAuthor's Note
