A PART OF ME

You are a fire that burns deep within

Not just a spark but a roaring flame,

Blazing without the scent of diesel or gasoline,

You made me feel special in so many ways,

I don’t know where it will go,

Either it would be a spark or a big blaze.

Sometimes I just wander do I deserve someone like you,

Or should I give up on the chase,

Even though you made me feel happy when I was blue,

And this is why I can say you are  “ A PART OF ME”.

A lot can be said for someone who can (and desires) to cheer you up. Interesting imagery, with the "blazes and diesel." Nice to see romance put in a different way than the norm. Your poem makes one want to shout "go for it!" Nice job.
