The Internet

The Internet

A Poem by richard hurndall

I’d like to introduce to you

My poem about the Internet

It’s not about the public debt

You can read about that in the Pilsbury Gazette

Let me read a list of inventions

‘The Apple Bramlette’

‘Cottage Cheese’

‘The Radio Set’

‘Light Bulbs’

‘The Flageolet’

That’s a flipple flute

Most commonly found

In Tibet

I shall continue--

‘The popular antacid tablet Tagamet’

Works in three hours

For tummy upset

And of course

The Larch

All these inventions

Are rubbish

Compared to the Internet
