No wonder you liked Rogue Celery. This is beautiful. The awful neon lights, the predictable line of people, the repetition and below it all the stress and memorisation. I love how it switches from that last paranoid sounding dialogue with the ghost to the bike ride home which seems to beautiful but at the same time is just used for all those medical terms. It sort of demonstrates how the inner dialogue doesn't change despite being out of the supermarket.
Love it! Very vivid, and very well written.
