From the darkness of night

From the darkness of night

A Poem by Hephaestus-18-Ares
"

Poem for the

"

From the darkness of night

Came the owl taking flight

Years of toiling and hardship

Ruined when it met the owl’s tip

Great success means living

Through a day of thriving

The owl closes in on the mouse

With speed unknown it hides

Through the crevices of its house

The mouse lay on all sides

Author's Note

Hephaestus-18-Ares
Does anyone get the symbolism of the owl and mouse?
The owl are the bullies, destroying everything in its tip. Also it only moves when not much are looking
The mouse are the bullied, hiding themselves away from the luxuries of life.
