Sleeping AngelA Poem by AehrThis poem is dedicated to three people. First and foremost, my 10 year old real little sister, Shriya, my 11 month old cousin sister Kirstin and another cousin of mine, who is my age, called Tamanna.Eyelids
drooping Drifting
away Into
her dreamland Like
everyday She
dreams of fairies And
witches all night Of
good and evil And
their eternal fight She
is only an infant, Frail
and weak Not
knowing how to walk Not
knowing how to speak But
she still amazes me With
that beautiful smile And
frees me of my worries At
least for a while And
when I look at her A
voice in my ear whispers God
has sent you an angel In
the form of a sister © 2012 AehrReviews
