The Silent Tear

As the leaves rustled through the wind

I walked down to the lane,

With a heart full of sadness

Memories full of pain.

 

Thoughts that distracted me

Bad memories of the past,

Now with a silent tear

I wish no memory lasts.

 

The way I fell down

After thinking so high,

The way all my dreams crashed

That just makes me cry.

 

My dreams are all broken

All shattered like glass,

I don’t want to recall

The memories of the past.

 

Here I go again

Through the same lane,

With a heart full of sadness

Memories full of pain.

Depressing... now this poem of yours i can definately relate to the heartache. the ache..the torture of sorrow kills. I know how it feels. I've had so many memories that still haunt me to this day. And the pain never goes away. You express the hurt you feel well. i really like it. Memories are hard to let go.. and even forget. Sometimes though memories are needed even if you don't want to remember. I learned that the hard way..so we just gotta move on with life the way it's handed to us. Wonderful write here!! You bring your pain with your words and i can feel it all..
