Fireball

This is a poem I didn't write myself, but with my mom and my elder cousin brother. Its a really good memory to me as we enjoyed writing it a lot.

There is a Fire Ball in my heart,

Which wants to pop out of my heart

But my heart is like a cage

Which keeps the fire ball in its place

 

Sometimes I feel I should let it out,

But I think my friends will shout.

I think one day the chains of my heart will be broken,

And the cage will suddenly open.

 

 

I have to take my final decision,

As far as I believe.

My heart is getting weaker and weaker,

Like an autumn leaf.

 

 

Before my heart gives up,

I should let it go.

So that I can be a free person,

Which I was once before.

Beautifully written even with the help of others. I am a firm believer in never letting our emotions stay bottled up or chained. Sometimes, other people do not allow us to speak what is in our hearts. This is perhaps my reason for writing..It is the emotions I can't whisper to someone yet need to release. The need to be "free" is a deep profound need in all of mankind with respect to our emotions.

Brilliant poem!
It's not good to cage up your feelings and emotions.
When I hide my feelings for too long, it drives me slightly crazy and I do things I wouldn't normally do.
