Veil.A Poem by AehrShe wore her brokenness like antique jewellery, Like something fragile and old, too precious to lose. Like rubies burning - a thousand souls churning, Guised as a common glass stone, painted red. She hid the passion of her wrath under smiles, Under peaceful yet firm movements, under a blurry veil Of plainness. She wore her brokenness like antique jewellery, With flames of rage dancing underneath - Waltzing to the dark, bitter tunes of hungry revenge. © 2016 AehrAuthor's Note
