Just another teenage girl with her joys and fears

Just another teenage girl with her smiles and tears

Just another teenage girl who walks the streets alone

Just another wasted space: a diamond that never shone

Just another teenage girl, trying not to cry

Just another teenage girl, too afraid to fly

Just another teenage girl, holding on to the night

Just another teenage girl, waiting for the light

Just another teenage girl with a story to tell

Just another teenage girl, praying for all to be well

Just another teenage girl, hoping her dreams come true

And in the end the teenage girl I talk about is you
