I'm done with the sadness

The 'thinking-about-you'

No more grey clouds

Just the plain old blue

I'm putting away all the tears

I've wasted, back in my pocket

I'm throwing all your gifts away

Never really liked that green locket

Goodbye forever, you mindless fool

I don't like you any more

Because the only good thing you ever did

Was walking out that door

You're an egocentric show off

Do you think that I'm a fool?

You're liberated: Go have fun

With the girl over whom you drool

You know what you've really been?

The concept for many a rhyme

I sincerely thank you for that

Writing them, I had a good time

But otherwise, you can go kick yourself

You deserve a slap or two

You don't deserve someone like me

My life's awesome without you

So goodbye forever, you mindless fool

I don't like you any more

Sometimes a rhyme scheme is not really necessary and mars the beauty of the poem at times. good work, however!

its the tune of a droopy worn out lover who has seen in his relationship nothing but pain. relations are like chewing gums. better to spit than devour. "mindless fool" seemed out standing. baki sab changa h.

I love love this poem....it's really soulful and lyrical...while reading the poem...it actually reminded me of a song almost lover...mainly it's tune especially at the goodbye forever line...

It's right that you want to break free from him already, and I really hope that you'll have time to heal and forgive. People aren't perfect, we sometimes hurt each other without barely noticing it, only to regret everything after.

No offense, on one part dude, I know that you want to get over the guy, but don't blame him too much, he is a person, he too have imperfections in him...

I hope that you'll be able to move on and forgive him and love yourself again. Until then, you'll be able to fond your true happinesss. (;

forgive him? I'm over him. Honestly, it was my fault, and I knew it. But I apologised so many times, and he hardly cared. Yep, he has imperfections. But it doesn't matter any more. :P
