Second Chances

All those horrid memories

And painful glances

Don't we all deserve

Them second chances?

I know I've been wrong

We all make mistakes

I've made some bad choices

Spoiled a few happy days

And like the dying leaves

I've taken the fall

Went wrong on the first try

So now I've lost it all

And oh, here we go

All over again

Tears melting down

With the pouring rain

And of course, I'm an exception

It's the world against one

I don't deserve a second chance

So now I'm forced to run

All those horrid memories

And painful glances

"Them second chances?" This line was used in the first and last stanzas. I would change the 'them' to 'these' or 'those' It sounds a little better than 'them'. More professional and complete in my opinion. That is just a suggestion though. Overall I really liked this piece :)

I would consider changing the word them in the first am last stanzas to another word. Maybe changed to "some", or "those"? It was a wonderful poem overall though:)
